The Mike Hodges Memorial Fund, is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit charitable organization formed for the sole purpose of raising money to fight the various forms of meningitis and the meningoccal disease strains that kill and maim so many people around the world.  We were not aware that a vaccine even existed that would have prevented Mike's death.  As his family and friends, we wanted to do something to honor his memory and help combat this deadly disease.

The MHMF organization has aligned ourselves with the National Meningitis Association (NMA) and a portion of all proceeds from the fundraising activities within the MHMF organization are contributed to the NMA to support their efforts in raising awareness of the Meningoccal Diseases.

As a non-profit organization, we are dedicated to increasing the public's awareness of meningitis, the education of medical professionals and clinicians in recognizing meningitis, and providing vaccines and instructions for prevention of meningitis.

Our fund raising activities are focused on athletic events, golf, hiking and biking.  We accept sponsorships from businesses and financial contributions from individuals to assist in furthering the activities for our corporate goals of Awareness, Education and Prevention.
